Bloomington Winter Farmers' Market, Sat., Feb 6, 9-noon
Bloomington Winter Farmers Market continues its sixth great season at Harmony School, this Saturday morning 9-12. The first two markets have broken all previous attendance records, so come on down and join in the enthusiasm for local food!
Ample free parking is available at Harmony School (902 E. Second Street), on surrounding streets, and at the nearby Atwater parking garage.
Local farmers will be offering early crops including broccoli, cauliflower, butternut squash, turnips, carrots, potatoes, and many types of greens. Also available will be dried soup beans, farm fresh eggs, a wide array of cheeses, and alpaca yarns & rovings.
Popular new products include Phoenix Farms’ locally made tofu, a full line of garden seeds from Red Rosa Farm, and scrumptious breads baked by our new young farmers Eric & Katie of Muddy Fork Farm.
Music will be provided all morning by Wayne County Historical Society (9-10:30), and then by Matt Romy Jazz (10:30-12), all thanks to generous support from the Bloomington Community Arts Commission and the City of Bloomington; Bloom Magazine; and Friends of the Bloomington Winter Farmers Market.
